In this class, we'll explore the beauty of watercolor transparency using just two colors to create a vibrant purple bloom. You’ll learn how to use wet-on-wet techniques to achieve soft blends and glowing petals, while intentionally letting the white of the paper shine through for light, dimension, and freshness.
This project is a perfect way to shake off winter and ease into spring with a fresh, flowing approach to watercolor. Whether you’re new to watercolor or looking to refresh your skills, this class is open to all.
Materials are included, and students will take home everything needed to keep painting after class, along with a helpful instruction packet to guide future practice.
