Shoes
Sauna sessions are typically done barefoot, which most people love (no extra gear to carry around). We do recommend bringing or wearing an easy slip-on shoe or sandal—something simple to wear to and from the sauna, especially if you’re stepping outside between rounds.
Bottoms
No need for anything special—there’s no such thing as “sauna pants.” A bathing suit, athletic shorts, or comfortable workout pants are all perfectly fine. Just keep in mind that whatever you wear will be soaked by the end of the session, so plan accordingly.
Tops
For women, any sports bra or bathing suit top that feels comfortable is great. For men, you’re welcome to wear a shirt or go without—totally up to you. Either way, expect it to be very sweaty, so choose something you don’t mind getting wet.

Towels
Please bring at least one towel to sit on while you’re in the sauna. If you’d like to dry off, wrap up between rounds, or shower afterward, we recommend bringing a second towel as well.
Water Bottle
Hydration is an important part of the sauna experience. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle—we’ll have a filtered water refill station available so you can stay hydrated throughout your session.
Electrolytes
Sauna sessions can be very sweat-intensive, so replacing electrolytes can be helpful—especially if you live an active lifestyle. While we don’t currently offer electrolytes for purchase on-site, you’re welcome to bring your own if that’s part of your routine. We plan to add electrolyte options in the future.

Hydration
We recommend starting to hydrate before your session, continuing to sip water during, and rehydrating afterward. Sauna sessions are very sweat-intensive, and staying hydrated helps your body feel its best during and after the experience. Adding electrolytes can be especially helpful to replenish what’s lost through sweat.
Food
Try to avoid eating a heavy meal right before your session. A light snack a couple of hours beforehand is usually perfect—enough to keep you energized without feeling weighed down. Most people find they enjoy the sauna more when they come in feeling light, comfortable, and relaxed.

Not at all. Our sessions are designed to be accessible for both beginners and experienced guests. You’re always encouraged to listen to your body, take breaks when needed, and move at your own pace—there’s no pressure to stay in longer than feels comfortable.
Whether you arrive solo or with friends, the space is welcoming and relaxed—come as you are, move at your own pace.

We use a traditional Finnish wood-fired sauna, which heats both the air and sauna stones to create a deep, full-body heat. This is the style of sauna that has been used for centuries and is the same type studied in the majority of sauna research linked to cardiovascular health, longevity, and overall well-being.
Infrared saunas use radiant panels to warm the body directly at lower temperatures. While some people enjoy them, the experience and physiological response are different. A traditional sauna produces a more intense heat, deeper sweat, and a natural rhythm of heating, cooling, and rest that many people find more grounding and restorative.
Both have their place—but if you’re looking for the classic sauna experience and its well-documented benefits, a traditional Finnish sauna is the way to go.
