Salt Block 101

Salt blocks are the new “bold” kitchen idea! This exciting class removes the intimidating portion of cooking on salt blocks and we will show you how easy it really is! We will introduce grilling, baking, chilling, and even serving using salt blocks. Using this magnificent mineral we’ll show you how to cure and maintain the blocks, and of course we’ll have some fabulous dishes to taste! Salt blocks and cookbooks will be available for purchase following this class.
The Glory of Herbs

Don’t you just love fresh herbs? What a sweet gift, to go out in the morning and pick fresh herbs for the day. If the taste doesn’t get you, the lovely smell will. This workshop will give you an appreciation for the marvelous glory of having a culinary garden. You will learn which magical herbs to plant and where to plant them. We will also cover working with herbs in tasty dishes. This is the perfect workshop to share with mom as a spring treat for Mother’s Day!
