Fall Harvest Pies

During this workshop you'll learn how to make savory pies, whoopee pies, sweetie pies and hand pies. You will create your very own delicious pie to take home for your family to enjoy.

"Pass the Bread" - Wouldn't it be great to make your own rolls & breads for the upcoming holiday dinners? This hands-on class will teach you how easy and wonderful it is to make your own bread. Breads that will be introduced are: rolls & small breads, hearth breads, fancy breads, antipasto breads, holiday fruit breads and steamed breads. Each guest will go home with a fresh loaf of bread to enjoy for dinner!
Christmas Cookies from Around the World

The guys are gone hunting and the malls are packed. Why not come out to the country, enjoy the fresh air, a warm fire, relax, and learn a little something about cookies from various parts of the world. Most of the cookies you will learn about love to 'sit for a spell' so the richness of spices soak into them. We will dive into some gluten free and vegan cookies as well as some classics! Each guest will enjoy a plate of cookies to take home to enjoy with the hungry hunters or shoppers in your house!
Santa's Gingerbread House

We hope your 2018 Christmas memories will start at Givens Farm! Enjoy the morning working side by side with your child constructing a gingerbread house together. This wonderful workshop includes frosting, candies and lots of laughter. What a holly jolly morning this will be, as we decorate gingerbread houses. The morning will conclude with a walk through the woods to Santa’s Workshop enjoying hot cocoa and Christmas cookies.
Price includes 1 adult and 1 child.
Annual Holiday Tea
Saturday, December 8
Givens Farm cordially invites you to our Annual Holiday Tea. This morning’s presentation will begin in our French kitchen surrounded in the warmth of the crackling fire and the spirit of Christmas. There will be plenty of time to enjoy those you come with and to meet new friends! Different teas will be introduced along with traditions of Christmas breads and treats typically used at Holiday Teas. High Tea will then be served in the Grand Hall with a holiday piano performance on the grand piano.
