As autumn approaches and weather begins to transition, let’s preserve this wonderful season, learning the different methods of preserving by canning, freezing and “rooting”. Soups are a fabulous way to use and enjoy the vegetables from the garden. We will cover how to make your own soup stock, so those delicious and beautiful veggies in your garden don’t go to waste. We will also bring some orchard goodness into your kitchen, by introducing apple-enhanced entrees, apple desserts, beverages and even apple butter! This will be a delicious morning, with many warm fall tastings, as autumn season fills the air.
