Honey Pairing in the Vineyard
Enjoy a relaxing Saturday morning in the vineyard! We will begin this workshop in the vineyard discovering what breads and cheeses pair well with different varieties of honey. Then we’ll transition into the kitchen where we will extend our workshop to demonstrating how to cook and bake using honey to create heavenly taste sensations. Honey, like wine and olive oil, was considered a luxury by the Egyptians and was stored in clay amphorae. Today, honey is readily available thanks to our wonderful beekeepers throughout Wisconsin. Our morning will conclude with a brief demonstration from a local beekeeper. All guests will leave this workshop with jar of locally produced honey for you enjoy at home.
