In light of the most recent executive orders communicated by Gov. Evers related to the Coronavirus outbreak, we are no longer operating with business as usual. Over the next several weeks we will only be scheduling virtual tours. Those events that are scheduled during this period will be rescheduled to another date.
Our 2020 Exclusive Event Series will continue to remain open for registration. If more information becomes available regarding any of these events and the possible delay or cancellation of them due to the outbreak, we will communicate with each person that has registered individually.

Make it a date night! Introducing our pasta workshop with a spring flare. Using fresh herbs and greens puts a new spin on this delightful workshop. The evening will start with a lesson in pasta making while enjoying a taste of Italian starters. During the lesson, we will cover a variety of pastas as well as the perfect sauces and seasonings. Following the lesson, you will dine on a gourmet dinner overlooking the 120-year old bridge and Plum Orchard Pond. The evening will conclude with coffee and dessert.
Girls Morning Out

Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend by coming out to Givens Farm for an Irish Mother’s Day Tea. Since spring has us craving freshness, we will create delightful, delicious dishes together that would be found at a tea house at the Ring of Kerry. Some hands-on, with tastings. Bring a special lady in your life to dine at tables covered with antique linens and bone china teacups and dishes make this an extra spectacular morning.
Herbs in the Kitchen
Saturday, May 16 // 10A-Noon
The gentle nature of herbs are the perfect ally in our desire for holistic wellness. In our time together, we will learn basic herbal remedies, as well as brush up on tips for planting, caring for, harvesting, and preserving these herbal teachers. There will be optional tastings and demos of various herbal preparations. Participants will choose one fresh potted herb to take home. Additional herbs will be also be available for purchase at $3 each.
Kari Witthuhn-Henning, founder of the Seed Guild, has a wide range of knowledge about gardening/landscaping with herbs as well as using herbs in the kitchen. Kari is an amazing resource for all things herby here in the Fox Valley.

Pure golden honey oozes off the honeycomb, beckoning the kitchen baker to use its natural sweet deliciousness. We invite you to come discover how to make old world rustic baked goods with this pure rich sweetness. We will also take a peek at pairing honey with cheeses, meats, and other dishes. If you wish, following the workshop, we welcome you to stay a bit longer and take a stroll in the vineyard to visit the Givens Farm hives.

Come and explore the culinary world of Britain. You will learn to make tasty British breads, savory pies, and custard desserts. These dishes are sure to come in handy over the summer when gathering with family and friends.
Mommy & Me Summer Tea
Saturday, June 20 // 10-11:30A
Spend a wonderful Saturday morning with your child and his/her favorite friend: a doll, teddy bear or other favorite. Each child will receive their very own "tea hat" and strong of beads. The summer tea will take place in our beautiful summer kitchen, adorned with white linens, flowers and beautiful teacups and dishes. Tea sandwiches and delicate cookies will be served. After lunch we will take a little walk outside to see "life" on the farm and do a surprise project for the kids to take home. This event is perfect for kids ages 5-11 years old.
Italian Summer Bakery

Imagine yourself for a moment basking in the sun sitting on a patio in Rome or Milan with the aroma of a corner bakery wafting through the piazza. Dreamy, right? We can't take you to Rome or Milan, but we can welcome you to Givens Farm for an evening that will be reminiscent of those dreamy images. This workshop will guide you in creating limoncello tiramisu, Italian cookies, old world crusty breads and other delicious sweet treats. Your evening will end with coffee and tastings on our exclusive roof top garden. This is a hands-on workshop with demonstrations.
Focaccia Flower Arrangements

Focaccia is a flat oven-baked Italian bread. You have likely had focaccia bread flavored with lots of herbs and tons of flavor. This workshop is taking focaccia to a whole new level! Not only will you learn how to make this delightful bread explode with flavor, but it will also be canvas for a "flower" arrangement. It is said that many people "eat with their eyes" first; this is sure to be true with this workshop!
The Cookie Jar

Nothing beats biting into a "to die for" cookie! Whether its a traditional flower cookie or a gluten-free cookie, this workshop is for all cookie lovers! Learn how to make a cookie that everyone wants to sink their teeth into. You will also go home with a dozen cookies to share...if you want to!
