REGISTRATION IS CLOSED Taste, learn, and bond over Fire Cider, a shared remedy to ward off sickness and promote health. We will explore Fire Cider's traditional uses and the myriad of health benefits it provides. Your registration includes a teaching portion as well as hands-on opportunity to make a Fire Cider blend to take home. If you've never experienced this sweet, zesty, raw vinegar-based elixir, you're in for a sensory treat! This workshop is presented by Kari from The Seed Guild Birds of Prey Hunt Demonstration
Falconer Frank Ujazdowski will be back this winter with his with his magnificent birds of prey. Frank and his team will speak about the Art of Falconry and handling birds of prey. There will be a hunt demonstration and the Snowy Owl Rescue Foundation will also be featured. These events are free of charge and no registration is required. The event will take place outside, so please dress accordingly. The events are dependant on weather and the health of the birds. If any date needs to be changed or canceled all information will be posted on the events tab of our Facebook page and on our website. Most of our workshops take place inside the home in the kichen and dining room. We encourage guests to practice social distancing, proper hand washing and if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, please do so.
In an effort to keep our home, staff, and guests healthy, if you are showing cold or flu-like symptoms, if you had a fever within the last 24 hours, live in the same household with someone that does, or if you are at a higher risk of infection, please stay home. If you have been made aware of contact with a positive COVID-19 or have been tested yourself within the last 14 days, please do not come to Givens Farm. If you have registered for an event and these symptoms begin to transpire in the days before the workshop, please contact us. We will do everything we can to make accommodations regarding your registration. Your safety and health and that of the other guests is of utmost importance to us. If additional information becomes available regarding any of these events and the possible delay or cancellation, we will communicate with each person that has registered individually.
